What is Meditative Yoga?


Are you interested in taking a yoga class, but don’t know what to expect?  Some people feel intimidated if they’ve never practiced yoga before.  Allow me to ease your mind.

My class is focused on releasing fascia tissue by doing cycling stretching. This means a spiraling or twisting back and forth along the muscle. Through different positions, I will help you stretch the muscles around the hips, make the tights stronger and will bring the body continuously into reference poses to have the awareness of fascia release. Over weeks and months of daily practice, the elastic properties are improved.

You will also have the opportunity to learn different techniques for decompressing the spine and breathing alternatives.  Some of these terms may sound strange to you, but I will help you along the way.
